Apple Martin, 18
Apple Blythe Alison Martin was born in London on May 14, 2004 and her unique name made international headlines. When Apple was just months old, Paltrow explained the choice of name in an interview with Oprah, saying, “Basically, it was because one day her father said if it’s a girl, her name should be Apple. and it just sounded so sweet and it conjures up such a beautiful image for me, you know, apples are so sweet and they’re healthy and it’s biblical and I just thought it was so beautiful, and then she was born and it became an international one Scandal which I found surprising because there are people named Rose or Lily or Ivy or June or a lot of pretty nouns.”
In recent years, Martin has shared how his now very grown Apple is sometimes embarrassed by her parents. He appeared up The Ellen DeGeneres Show in January 2020 and said: “My daughter works in a clothing store. It’s her first job and she’ll be 16 soon. And I’m so proud of her. She makes her way in the world. And I didn’t tell her, I wanted to surprise her, well, not surprise her, I just walked up to her, and I thought I’d better buy something, so I grabbed a t-shirt from the stand and got in line . She was at the checkout -out and there were two checkouts.”
When Apple saw her father in line, she said “Dad, get out”, obviously embarrassed by her father’s visit to the store. “And I felt horrible so I went to the other line just holding my t-shirt and I was really scared of my daughter. I paid for the t-shirt and bought her some fudge because she loves candy fudge. So I said to the lady, ‘Can you just give this to my daughter?’ And when I left she cried out, ‘I love you Dad!’ ”
In honor of Apple’s 18th birthday in 2022, Paltrow shared a sweet tribute on her Instagram with photos of her lookalike daughter posing in front of a mirror, dressed in white. In the caption, the Goop founder wrote: “I’m a bit lost for words this morning (😭). I couldn’t be prouder of the woman you are. You are everything I could have dreamed of and much more “Pride doesn’t cover it, my heart swells with feelings I cannot put into words. You are deeply extraordinary in every way. Happy birthday my sweet girl . I hope you know how special you are and how much light you have.” I brought to all who are lucky enough to know you. Especially me. I say it all the time and I will never stop… in the words of Aunt Drew: I was born the day you were born. I love you. ❤️ Mom. ”

The host also asked Moses if he was still interested in music, to which Moses replied, “I’m really into music. … At the moment I would say that I play the guitar the most; it used to be piano for a while, and now I’m taking guitar lessons again.”
Like his older sister, Moses performed with his father at the Boys & Girls Club fundraiser in Malibu in October 2016. He sang “House of Gold” by Twenty One Pilots while Martin strummed the acoustic guitar nearby.
