) and young Callie Ferreira Goncalves. You will be further connected by Yamee Couture, Henri Noël Tabary, Victor Lefebvre, Sebastien Pouderoux, Michel Zlotowski, Antonia Buresi, Marlene Saldana, Anne Berest, Marwen Okbi, Mireille Perrier and US filmmaker Friedrich Wisemann.

The story, written by the director, revolves around Rachel, who is 40 years old and has no children. She loves her life: her high school students, her boyfriends, her ex-boyfriends, her guitar lessons… When she falls in love with Ali, she develops a bond with Leila, Ali’s four-year-old daughter. She tucks her in bed, takes care of her and loves her as if she were her own. But loving other people’s children is a risky business…

other people’s children is produced by Frederic Jouve commissioned by Les Films Velvet, in co-production with France 3 Cinéma. Pre-ordered by Canal+, Ciné+ and France Télévisions, the feature film also benefits from a CNC revenue advance and the support of SOFICA companies Indéfilms, Cinécap and Cineventure. Photography comes with permission from Georges Lechaptois while the film’s music is composed by ROBING. Ad Vitam will oversee the film’s release in France on September 21st, with sales in the hands of Wild Bunch International.
